Why people use Pubwork

PrivateYour file is opened on your own computer and never uploaded, so it is safe for school, church and business documents.
FreeNo account, no watermark and no limit on the number of files.
FaithfulMicrosoft fonts are replaced by free fonts with the same letter widths, so lines break where they did. Anything shown differently is listed.

Questions

Will the Word file look like my Publisher page?

Yes, as close as Word allows. Each text box, picture and shape is placed at the same spot on the page. Word is a word processor, not a layout program, so moving things around later is easier in Pubwork itself.

Can I still change the text?

Yes. The text is real text inside Word text boxes, with its fonts, sizes and colours.

Why not save as PDF and open that in Word?

That route often keeps only the text: pictures move, boxes break apart and text lands on the wrong page. Pubwork reads the Publisher file itself, so the layout is kept.

I have hundreds of files. Do I have to do them one by one?

No. Choose many files at once, or a whole folder, and you get one .zip file with a Word document for each.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser. Your file never leaves your computer.
